Some one in the audience of last week’s Midnight Special recorded a clip from their cell phone of the P! Company’s appalling behavior at local comedy and improv club, ColdTowne Theater.
The two P! Company members, Andy Petruzzo and Kyle Sweeney began ranting and raving at the Texas Travesty for the quality/content of their review in the recent October issue. You can read the complete article here.
The review, entitled “The ‘P’ is for Poopy,” elicited quite a vocal response from the otherwise laid back comic personalities.
Andy Petruzzo had this to say regarding the events, “Before anything gets out of hand, we wanted to apologize publicly to the [Texas] Travesty. We lost our cool back there and we realize that no one in the room was directly responsible for the content of the review.”
Kyle Sweeney wished to add, “We don’t like the word “poopy” or any iteration of that. We feel it is lowbrow and indecent. We felt attacked, so we pushed back. It was the wrong way to handle it and we apologize.”

The P! Company also looks forward to the show on October 17th that is being co-sponsored with the Travesty and ColdTowne Theater.

Last night was the Alamo Open Screen Night. The P! Company beat the odds for Tuesday’s Open Screen Night at the Alamo Drafthouse. Forbidden Zone: The Secrets of Roanoke and Friend were the two classic P! Company videos that played as their complete respective units all the way through without boo-ing. There were many other strange and funny videos that night. We’ll definitely be participating in the future. Look forward to that.
Last week, we had the pleasure of sitting down for an interview with the Texas Travesty. You can listen to the audio interview here.
Remember, the P! Company Megashow is coming up October 17th at 8:00pm in The Texas Union Theater. It is a free show co-produced by the Texas Travesty and ColdTowne Theater. Be there.
